Terms

General rental terms

What you commit to when you book, and what we commit to in return. Read them before paying: they form part of the contract.

Updated 19 August 2026

01

Purpose and parties

These terms govern the seasonal furnished letting of Chalet Azur Prestige, plot P523 at the Oasis Village estate in Puget-sur-Argens. They apply to every booking made from this site, to the exclusion of any other terms.

The lessor is the chalet's owner, letting directly. The tenant is the adult who books; the booking is personal and non-transferable, and subletting is prohibited.

02

The property

A private three-bedroom chalet, 35 m² indoors, a 35 m² enclosed terrace level with the interior, a south-facing deck and a 200 m² enclosed plot. Maximum capacity: eight guests including infants, unless agreed in writing. That limit is binding, for safety and insurance reasons.

The chalet sits in the residential quarter of an estate whose facilities are run by a third party. Their opening, hours and prices are the estate operator's responsibility and may vary; they are not guaranteed by the lessor.

03

Booking and formation of the contract

Letting is for a minimum of seven nights. In July and August it is by whole weeks, Saturday to Saturday. The site's calendar shows availability in real time.

The contract is formed when the first instalment is paid, which constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the house rules. The dates are then held in your name. Before that payment, no dates are reserved, even after an enquiry has been sent.

04

The price and what it covers

The rate is quoted per week, for the whole chalet and up to eight guests, per the seasonal grid shown on the site. The quote presented before payment is not an estimate: it is the firm price, recalculated on our servers.

  • Included: the letting, water and electricity in normal use, Wi-Fi, leisure equipment, the private parking space and the welcome hamper.
  • Charged extra, if you take them: end-of-stay cleaning, the baby equipment pack, the skippered boat outing, and pets.
  • Not included and paid at the estate reception: the Fun Pass, compulsory and including the tourist tax, and the eco-contribution.
05

Payment terms

At payment time you choose between a 50% deposit followed by the balance thirty days before arrival, or payment in three, four or six instalments thirty days apart. Only the first instalment goes through the payment window; the rest are charged automatically to the saved card, on the dates stated.

In every case the stay is paid in full before arrival, the last instalment falling at least thirty days beforehand. A payment refused by your bank is notified to you by email; failing settlement within eight days, the booking may be terminated, with sums already paid retained by the lessor.

06

Security deposit and cleaning deposit

A €1,000 security deposit takes the form of a hold on the card used for the booking, placed during the stay and no later than six days before departure. The amount is blocked on your account, never charged, and released after the departure inspection. It is charged, in whole or in part, only in the event of damage, loss, or a recorded breach of the house rules, on production of evidence.

A €120 cleaning deposit is handed over on site at arrival and returned on departure if the chalet is left clean, or if you took the cleaning option.

If your bank declines the hold, the security deposit will be requested on site by another means before the keys are handed over.

07

No right of withdrawal

The fourteen-day withdrawal period applicable to distance selling does not apply here. Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code expressly excludes accommodation services supplied on a specified date or period, which is the case for a seasonal letting.

In other words

By booking, you give up the ability to change your mind within fourteen days. That is the law, not a clause of our making; the cancellation terms below apply instead.

08

Cancellation and changes

Sums paid are non-refundable. This rule is stated before payment, on the booking page and in the payment window alike. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance with the insurer of your choice.

Any request to change dates is considered in good faith, without obligation and subject to availability. Should the lessor cancel of its own doing, all sums paid would be returned within fourteen days, with no further compensation.

09

Arrival, stay and departure

Arrival is between 3 pm and 5 pm, departure between 8 am and 10 am, by appointment made forty-eight hours ahead. Entry is conditional on producing photo ID, proof of insurance and the registration of the permitted vehicle, and on signing the inventory and condition report.

The house rules form an integral part of the contract. They set out capacity, parking, prohibitions and the departure checklist. Reading them is essential; ignorance of them cannot be relied upon.

10

Insurance

The tenant must hold holiday public liability insurance for the whole stay, and produce evidence of it on arrival. Failing that, entry may be refused without refund.

11

Liability

The lessor is not answerable for theft of or damage to personal effects, nor for harm arising from improper use of the property or of the estate's facilities. Its liability cannot be engaged in cases of force majeure, nor by the temporary closure of a facility run by a third party.

12

Complaints and mediation

Send us your complaint in writing first: we always look for an amicable solution, and usually find one. If our reply does not satisfy you within one month, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator.

You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

TO BE COMPLETED — name, address and website of the approved consumer mediator

13

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall to the competent French courts. The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy, reachable from the footer.
